Pick the format the file came from — it's read with the same parser as that source.
Column names don't have to match exactly (capitals, spaces and common alternatives
are handled), but the fields do have to be there. The file is then run through the
full dedup check against every lead already here, and the result is parked below
for review. Nothing joins the live list until someone presses Commit.
For a list you sourced yourself, and the home of ReadTomato's standard lead shape:
Name, Title/practice, Company, Business type, City, State, Email, LinkedIn,
Phone number, Website, Description. Bring any subset — anything the file doesn't
have is simply left blank. All it truly needs is a company name plus one way to
reach or enrich them: email, LinkedIn, phone or website. A single "Location"
column holding "Atlanta, GA" is split into city and state for you. Tell it where
the list came from and every lead it creates carries that label. Same review step
as the other formats: nothing merges until someone presses Commit.
